Business Controller

As a Business Controller, you are the business partner for the management of the Operations organization in the Netherlands. Operations provides all Warehouse & Transport related services of the various Business Lines including serving the Dutch Hospitals & Pharmacies, Alcura and handling all e-commerce orders via various webshops.

In this role, you manage the Planning & Control Cycle of Operations. This concerns closing processes, analysis & reporting, forecasts, projects and budgets as well as communication with the Division Operations Control team in the UK. Based on your observations and information, you come up with forecasts and recommendations that contribute to realizing our ambitions.

Operations is the beating heart of the organization and involved in the entire chain from pallet to patient. Together with the Operations team, Business Controller works on insights & improvements to process customer orders efficiently and deliver them to the customer on time. In addition to highly developed financial and analytical skills, you have excellent communication skills and stakeholder management qualities. What you also bring with you:

• A completed WO in Finance/Accountancy, Economics or Business Administration;
• Relevant controlling work experience in a similar position within the logistics and transport sector is a strong advantage
• Experience with setting up and managing complex business cases is a strong advantage
• Experience with improving and optimizing financial and operational/strategic business processes;
• Result orientation (getting things done), independence, reliability and accuracy;
• Excellent command of English. Dutch is a strong plus.
